“ cornelly always hits the spot. one of my favorite pizza places in seattle! we got the honey hornet, wild west, paccheri pasta, caesar salad, and bread service. honey hornet is a classic go to option in my opinion, and the wild west was a delicious white sauce pizza with mushrooms and sage. really fun seasonal options! ”
“ My boyfriend and I were craving pizza and figured it was time to see what all the hype was about at Cornelly. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, 15 minutes after they opened, and it was already packed! Luckily, we were able to get the last indoor table. They also have a few outdoor tables with heaters, which is a nice touch for extra seating. Chicory Caesar Salad - $16 This was such a great way to start the meal. The sourdough bread crumbs added the perfect crunch on top of the chicory, and the anchovy vinaigrette was SO good. They didn't overdo it on the dressing either, so the salad stayed crisp even by the time our pizza came out. Hornet Honey Pizza - $29 ( 14-inch ) When I first saw the price, I wondered if a pizza could really be worth $29... but, yes. It really was. It had all my favorite toppings: mozzarella, hot honey, cupped pepperoni, and sweet pineapple. The crust was thin but still had that nice crisp on the bottom! If you like a sweeter flavored pizza, I would recommend. My only complaint is that the actual crust was a bit plain/burnt and dried out our mouths, so I wish I had ordered some hot honey or marinara on the side to dip it in. A little sad because crust is my fav part of a pizza :,( Seasonal Panna Cotta - $8 We got the spiced apple panna cotta with cardamom cookie crumble, and omg... I wish this was a permanent menu item. The texture was so smooth and creamy, and the flavors were absolutely perfect. I'm literally drooling just writing this. They package their desserts for takeout; which makes sense, because I wanted to order at least ten more to eat at home. I didn't catch our server's name (short curly brown hair), but she was great! She was super sweet, patient with all our questions, and checked in with us throughout our meal. You can really tell that everyone working here loves what they do and puts so much care into Cornelly. Our total was $58 before tip, which I think is fair if you're looking to get a nicer dinner in Seattle. Will definitely be back in the future! ”
“ Cornelly is my go-to pizza and pasta place. It's always busy so be prepared to wait or go early/late! They have seating inside and outside. We went on a Monday night around 8 and didn't have to wait, we ordered their leek pizza with dill and it was delicious and filling. We also ordered a pasta. I like that their menu rotates based on the seasonal selection of food so I can always try something new.. I will be coming back! ”
“ This place has been on my list for quite some time now and when my friend wanted to go here for our friends Christmas dinner, I immediately said yes! We got the Hornet Honey, Flying Saucer, and Wild West pizzas as well as the rigatoni and the chicory salad. Oh and the bread service! Our favorites were the bread service, the hornet honey, and the salad! They don't take reservations so we came in around 430 and got in line. By the time that we got there, there were two groups of two so it's a good thing we got there pretty early. They open at 5 and they were able to seat us even though they have a small space and there's 8 of us, including two kids. My husband and I would love to come back and order our faves again! ”
“ Honestly, this place was so yummy. Only thing that sucked was parking is truly the worst thing ever but it balanced out lol! ”
“ We ordered Chicory Caesar, the Mothership, and a thick noodle hedgehog mushroom pasta which was plenty for 2, with some leftovers. Chicory Caesar was really good - the leaves were sliced small like we enjoy, and the chicory (similar to an endive) has a light bitterness which actually was complementary to the dish. Breadcrumbs gave a nice texture. The pizza was great - it was slightly overcooked in that the bottom was a bit burnt on the edges, but thankfully the surface stayed nice and wasn't dry. The red onions had incredible aroma, coupled with the sausage, it was a very nicely flavored pizza with great crunch throughout the slice, no flop. If it came out the oven 20sec earlier it'd be near perfect, and I don't say that about many pizzas. As for the pasta, I wasn't a fan. The flavor was ok but it was a tad undercooked when you looked at the cross section, and the texture of the noodle itself was not very smooth throughout. Definitely coming back for more pizza and salad, would skip on pasta next time. Came on a Sunday 4:45pm and was in the first seating. As the weather gets worse and outdoor seating closes, I'd probably aim to arrive ~4:30 to seat as it opens at 5. ”
